The main leaders of Iraq and other Arab countries attended the dinner of Ramadan in Sao Paulo, held on 24 June. Arshad Esmaeel were present, the Iraqi ambassador; Gular Al – Kettana, Iraqi Ambassador’s wife; and Watheq Taha, Attaché Commercial Iraq embassy. On behalf of Chamber Brazil Iraq was attended by President Jamal Chaya and other board members: Jalal Chaya, Nawfal Alssabak and Fernando Correa.
The event also included the presence of Ali Saifi, director of CDIAL; Hasan Garib, president of Arbib – Brás mosque; and directors Seyyed Sharif Al-Seyyed, Basi Said, Mohammed and Ali Gebai Jasar the same entity; besides Michel Alaby, president of the Arab Brazilian Chamber; Mohamed Elkhatib, commercial consul of Egypt; Ibrahim Al Zeben, Ambassador of the Palestinian Authority; Sheikh Taleb al-Khazraji, president of the Islamic Center in Brazil; Jenna Paisley and Monica McDonough, US consulesas; and Hakan Gozalicci, Vice Consul of Turkey.
